Applying For PLC FLEXD
To apply for the Fellowship in Leadership & Experiential Development (FLEXD), complete the following application and email supporting documents to the appropriate faculty or professional staff member.Ìý We encourage you to select three areas of interest to increase your chances of being the fellowship.Ìý
- AY 2026-26 Application Due Date: March 8, 2026
- Hire date for AY 26-27 - August 20, 2026
Co-curricular fellowship positions are open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors, whereas academic fellowships are open only to rising juniors, and rising seniors. The following opportunities are available for the academic year of 2026-2027. Click on the position you are interested in to read the opportunity description. You can choose which position(s) you apply to as you complete the form.
The fellows and experiential course curriculum are supported through PLC’s affiliated scholarships. Scholarship amounts, which vary, are determined by estimated the average amount of research, design, and engagement hours spent each week.
Additional amounts of $500 - $1,000 per year can be added for team lead positions, returning fellows, and/or exemplary performance, depending on agreement with the supervisor of your team.Ìý

FLEXD Welcome Week, and Course for AY 2026-27
Before applying for the fellowship please make sure you can commit to the following dates and course times:
- PRLC 2930-800 - You will be enrolled in a 1-3-credit course and student staff meetings (course meetings) are required and held TUES 8:00-9:15AM - HLMS E1B01.
- Students in PLC FLEXD are enrolled in PRLC 2930-800, a 1-2 credit internship course. Students are held accountable for their own development and performance each semester and will receive letter grades that are factored into their academic GPA.ÌýThe course meets once a week, TUES 8:00-9:15AM HLMS E1B01.
