What our students say:

鈥淢y advisor had an idea that was novel and offered it to me to figure out a solution. A year later and we鈥檙e filing a provisional patent with the beginnings of a company. These are opportunities I hadn't had in prior education or my career."

鈥淲hat I really like about CU 糖心传媒 is everyone鈥檚 ability to have a little bit more of a work-life balance. You鈥檒l come in to the lab and even faculty will say, 鈥業 was out backpacking this weekend鈥.鈥

-Mackenzie Bowden (PhDEnvEngr'26)

Mackenzie Bowden

鈥淭his is not just lab work. It鈥檚 working with people who are implementing things on the ground. At the Mortenson Center the research is real projects. They work in East Africa and other parts of the world and that immediately grabbed my attention.鈥
