The CU ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ School of Education is a nationally recognized leader in education research, consistently ranking among the top programs in the country.

The School of Education places in the top 9th percentilein federal grant dollars per faculty member across 220 institutions and No. 1 in honorific awards in curriculum and instruction among 111 peer institutions, according to Academic Analytics. Over the past decade, our faculty have maintained a position in the 10th percentile for scholarly productivity, reflecting a sustained commitment to high‑impact research.

The School of Education research and development serves to advance greater equity and justice in education. In particular, our faculty are internationally recognized for expertise expertise in research-practice partnerships; community-engaged research; studies of bilingualism and biliteracy; policy; and assessment. In addition, we maintain clusters of excellence in STEM education; teacher education and teacher learning; literacy studies; and learning sciences and human development. Research strengths reflect our deep commitments to social and educational transformation, which are woven into the fabric of research activities.
